How much would your SOL earn?
Real rewards stakers received, scaled to your amount. Inflation rewards compound every epoch (about once a day).
You'd earn about
≈ 4.55SOL in 1 year
100 SOL becomes ≈ 104.55 SOL · at ≈ 4.5% a year, the network average over the last 30 days
Inflation, compounded≈ 4.42 SOL
MEV tips≈ 0.13 SOLNot restaked automatically
An estimate from past data, not a promise. Rates change every epoch. Data as of epoch 1072.
The estimate starts from what stakers actually received
Three steps, no advertised rates.
Real rewards
What stakers received over the epochs of the last 30 days, after fees: the network, or one validator.
Your amount and period
Scaled to the SOL you enter and the period you pick.
Compounded every epoch
Inflation rewards join your stake and earn from the next epoch, about once a day.
Same "APY", different rewards
Most sites show one commission number. Your rewards also depend on the validator's MEV commission, whether it runs Jito at all, and how often it's offline. That's why the validator mode uses what its stakers actually received, not an advertised rate.
Why your real rewards can differ
- The network's inflation rate slowly goes down each year.
- MEV tips rise and fall with trading activity.
- Your validator can change its fees or go offline.
- Stake activates and deactivates at epoch boundaries, so a new stake starts earning after the next epoch.
Questions about the estimate
Over the last 30 days the network paid stakers about 4.46% a year after validators' fees. On 100 SOL that's about 4.46 SOL a year. Rates change every epoch, so treat it as an estimate, not a promise.
Inflation rewards do: they're added to your stake each epoch and earn from the next one. The calculator includes this by default; switch it off to see the simple total. MEV tips aren't staked automatically, so the calculator counts them without compounding.
Solana requires at least 1 SOL for each new stake. On top of that, each stake account holds a small deposit, less than 0.002 SOL, that keeps it open. Leave a little SOL unstaked for fees.
Wallets often show a projected or advertised rate. We show what stakers actually received over the last 30 days, after fees, so the numbers can differ.
