What this page covers
Solana Staking is a free site: you don’t create an account, and we don’t ask who you are. This page explains the little data the site and its Telegram bot do handle, why, and how long it stays.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Yandex Metrica to see which pages actually help people choose a validator — nothing more granular than page views, click patterns and a few product events (opening a validator page, using the calculator, clicking through to the bot). It never records your session: Yandex Metrica’s session-recording feature (Webvisor) is switched off.
If your browser is in the EU, UK or a nearby region, analytics stays off until you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit. Outside that region it runs by default; you can opt out any time by clearing your browser’s site data or blocking analytics scripts yourself. Either way, we never enable ad tracking: ad cookies and ad personalization are switched off for everyone, always.
The product events we count carry only public information: the validator’s vote account (for example when a validator page is opened, or when a stake transaction is signed in your wallet), the name of the page or guide, and a short error code. They never carry your wallet address, a stake account address or the amount you stake.
On the validator filter pages we also count which filter chip or sort button was used (its name), which table row was opened (the page name, its position in the table and the validator’s vote account) and which link at the bottom of the page was clicked (stake guide, bot or full list).
On the staking steps we count that the stake window was opened, that a wallet was connected there, and, when something goes wrong, a fixed reason word (for example the wallet refused, the transaction expired or was not confirmed, the wallet was disconnected); never the wallet’s own error text. To see where visitors come from and where they drop off, the product events of the staking path also carry three short values: the page path without any query part, how the visit started (from a search engine, from Telegram, direct, or from another site, judged from the referring address and kept only in your browser tab) and whether the beginner list was used (this flag is also kept in your browser tab, like the start type, and is gone when the tab is closed). Clicks on in-page links to the beginner list, the stake guide or the validator list are counted with the link’s name and the page it was clicked on. None of these values identifies you.
The full list of events and their values. page_view (page path, full address, page title); validator_view, stake_click, stake_dialog_open, wallet_connected and stake_signed (the validator’s vote account); stake_error (the vote account and the fixed reason word: rejected, expired, not_confirmed, disconnected, simulation, wallet_connect_failed or failed); preset_beginner (none); preset_chip_click (the filter’s name); filter_sort (the sort key); filter_row_click (page name, row position, vote account); filter_page_cta (the name of the link target); guide_read (the guide’s name, once 75% of it was scrolled); glossary_view (the term’s name); calculator_used (none); bot_click (where the link was: home, validator, direct or another source name, and the page path); cta_click (the link’s name and the page it was clicked on); compare_open (where Compare was opened from: list, filter, validator or direct); compare_add (vote account, column position); compare_view (how many validators are shown); compare_toggle_diff (none); compare_exit (vote account, column position, target).
Seven of these (validator_view, stake_click, stake_dialog_open, wallet_connected, stake_signed, stake_error and cta_click) also carry three context values: page_path (the page without any query part), entry (search, bot, direct or other) and from_beginner (true or false: whether the beginner list was used earlier in this visit). entry and from_beginner are kept in your browser tab’s session storage only and disappear when the tab is closed. No event contains your wallet address, a stake account address or an amount.
Your choice is remembered in your browser only (not tied to any account, because there isn’t one).
When you stake through the site
Staking happens entirely in your own wallet: the site builds the transaction, your wallet shows it to you, and only you sign it. We never see your seed phrase or private key, and your SOL never passes through us.
Once your wallet confirms the transaction, the site tells our server two public facts already visible on the Solana blockchain: the transaction signature and the validator’s vote account. Our server checks that transaction on-chain and, if it’s real, keeps one line: date, signature, vote account, amount staked and the epoch. This is how we know the site is actually useful — we don’t collect your wallet address on its own, your IP address, or any cookie alongside it.
The Telegram bot
The bot is free and works from a public wallet address you send it, plus the chat id Telegram gives every conversation — that’s how it knows where to send an alert. It never asks for a seed phrase or private key, and it can’t move your SOL.
Stop it any time by blocking the bot or sending /stop; we delete the address and chat id we held for you once you do.
Contact form and error reports
- Contact form: your message, plus an email address only if you choose to leave one so we can reply.
- Error reports: if something breaks on the page, your browser sends us the error message, which file and line it came from, a short portion of the technical error trace, and the page path — nothing that identifies you.
What we never ask for
- Your seed phrase or private key
- A password or account (there isn’t one)
- Your name, address or ID for using the site or the bot
Who sees this
Analytics data is processed by Google and Yandex under their standard terms; we don’t sell or share it beyond that. Everything else above stays on our own server. We don’t run ads and have no ad partners to share data with.
Changes to this policy
