What's new

We keep this log since v1.3.0 (19 Oct 2026).

v1.5.11.1

  • Improved On the Compare page, the software-version row now has an info tip that explains why validators can run different versions during upgrades.
  • Fixed A Compare link with more validators than fit (or with invalid ones) now shows exactly the validators that are compared.

v1.5.11

  • New The validator page and the Compare page now show whether a validator runs the most common software version number by stake, for the latest epoch.
  • Improved The roadmap marks stage 4 (Score update, new metrics, filters) as done.

v1.5.10

  • New Compare up to four validators side by side on the new Compare page.

v1.5.9

  • New The validator page now shows the validator's rank by Score and its vote quality.
  • New Two new validator lists: by stake size and by data centre.
  • Fixed The methodology page now gives the correct window for vote performance: the last 10 epochs.

v1.5.8

  • New The Low commission, MEV commission and Reliable validator lists now have a short introduction that explains the filter rule.

v1.5.7

  • Improved Scores now use version 2.1: validators that vote well are no longer marked down by the move to Alpenglow, a missing MEV commission is no longer counted as no MEV, and a short outage costs much less than a long one. The methodology page lists the changes and how many validators moved.

v1.5.6

  • New The About page now says: "The team behind Solana Staking also runs a Solana validator (testnet today). It is scored by the same public formula and gets no special placement."
  • Fixed The commission stable for 90 days mark now shows correctly for every validator whose commission did not change. This finishes the fix from v1.5.5.
  • Fixed The footer now shows the current site version.
  • Improved Search engines can now read more validator pages: the top 500 rated validators, up from 200, added gradually.

v1.5.5

  • Fixed The commission stable for 90 days mark now shows correctly for validators whose commission did not change.
  • Fixed After a new epoch starts, the validator list stays on the last fully scored epoch.
  • Fixed Ready-made lists such as Low fees and Shares all MEV now leave out disqualified and blacklisted validators.
  • Fixed With All selected, sorting by rewards, reliability or fees now lists rated validators first, then those not yet rated, then blacklisted ones, then Score 0.
  • Improved The footer is easier to read: legal and custody notes on the left, data, copyright and version on the right; on phones the parts stack.

v1.5.4

  • Fixed Epoch length is now stated correctly: an epoch lasts about a day, not about 2 days, in the guides, glossary and everywhere else it is mentioned.
  • Fixed The commission rug pull guide now explains that the Score counts the highest commission a validator set in the last 90 days, so a quick drop back does not hide a spike.
  • Improved The Score is explained the same way on the methodology page, in the FAQ and in the guide to choosing a validator.

v1.5.3

  • New A short list of validators for a first stake now opens with a full introduction: what the checks are, what the list is not, and what to compare yourself.
  • Improved Search engines and AI assistants can now read the validator list and every validator page in full, so they can show the same up-to-date information you see here.

v1.5.0

  • The site holds up better when something goes wrong. If data is briefly unavailable, pages now say so and ask you to try again in a couple of minutes, instead of showing an empty page or "not found".
  • If one part of a page fails to load, the rest of the page stays usable, with a short message and a button to reload.
  • Better protection against misuse and heavy load, so the site stays fast and available.

v1.4.5

v1.4.4

v1.4.3

  • Understand Reliability and Fees faster: hover or tap either one for a short description and a link to how it is calculated.

v1.4.0

  • Score v2. The Score now tells reliable validators apart better, and each validator shows Reliability and Fees next to it. How the Score works.
  • Validators blacklisted for harm now score 0, and validators in the superminority score lower. A validator's track record now counts over a longer time.
  • Sort by what matters to you: "Most reliable" orders validators by reliability, "Low fees" by fees, and a counter shows how many match.
  • Find your way faster: the home page links to the main tools and guides, and a new What's new page, with a feed you can follow, lists every change.
  • Fixed 30-day rewards on validator pages, which showed wrong spikes.

v1.3.7

v1.3.6

  • Choose a validator with fewer doubts: the validator list has a clearer intro and answers to common questions before you pick.
  • New guide: How to switch Solana validators.
  • The unstaking guide now covers large balances.

v1.3.3

  • Easier to scan: validator pages show the short name of a validator in the heading, list and footer. The full on-chain name is still shown once, labelled "On-chain name".
  • Find validators faster: search now matches the full on-chain name too.

v1.3.1

  • Clearer safety section: "Is this validator safe to stake with?" is easier to read and says once that your SOL stays in your own stake account.
  • Fixed grey strips at the sides of some sections on several pages.

v1.3.0

  • See how fresh the site is: the footer shows the site version and the date of the last update.
  • Quick links in the footer to the top 10 validators by Score.
  • Easier to find in search: clearer page titles and descriptions in search results.
  • New answers on the FAQ page, the alerts page (which alerts the bot sends) and in the commission guide.
  • Fixed the description of a validator's fee history, which said more than the page shows.
